Nominate Yourself for MEGA Executives (2020)

We are going to hold the elections of the new executives for the upcoming year (summer 2020 – spring 2021) and it’s now the time for you to nominate yourself for a MEGA executive role!

The open positions and their simplified descriptions are:

  • President (lead the whole team) (Must be a previous MEGA executive to be eligible to apply!)
  • VP- Internal affairs (promote Mech Grad students’ wellbeing within the department, attend safety meetings, etc.)
  • VP- Academic (hold academic events, promote academic issues, etc.)
  • VP- Communications (sending emails, prepare posters, serve in the MECH Sustainability committee, etc.)
  • VP- Finance (managing finance)
  • VP- Social (coffee socials, sport events, etc.)
  • GSS representative (represent MEGA to GSS, attend GSS meetings, etc.)

Due to the COVID-19 stay-home order, this year we will have to run the election online. All the information you entered below will be used later in the voting form, so please make sure that you have written an attractive self-introduction and plans for next year if get elected. The deadline for submitting this form is by midnight, May 29 (Friday), and the voting process will start from the Monday after that.
