Let’s kick off the summer with a short hiking trip to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of British Columbia together.
Please join MEGA and your fellow graduate students on Sunday, June 11th for our first event of the summer! We will be hiking to Saint Mark’s Summit in the nearby Cypress Provincial Park (~45 mins away from campus). This hike is classified as an intermediate hike and spans 11 km round trip which should take us approximately 4.5 hours while moving at a leisurely pace. Transport to and from the trail, as well as snacks, will be provided. Our vehicle capacity is limited so please RSVP here.
We will plan to meet at UBC around 10:30am, but this can be flexible and the detailed logistics will be discussed after folks RSVP.
