It’s finally time to celebrate the end of a long and challenging academic year!
Please join MEGA and your fellow graduate students on Friday, April 28th, from 5 – 7 pm for our annual Pub Night! This event will be hosted conveniently on-campus at Koerner’s Pub. Food and beverages will be provided, though this capacity is limited so please RSVP here.
While complimentary refreshments will primarily be offered to MECH graduate students who have RSVP’d we strongly encourage you to invite significant others and any other graduate students to celebrate with us.
In addition to an evening of much-needed socializing and revelry, we will be hosting a fun and friendly competition. Gift cards in excess of $50 will be awarded to our top finishers!! The idea is simple: given 1-minute and a single abstract slide of someone else’s research, how well can you describe the research topic being presented? The best presenters will be voted on by the crowd with bonus points given to the funniest and most creative presentations.
