Ideascout.ca has connected with MEGA to spread out the words to prospective students.
Ideascout.ca works directly with the student and professor to provide private seed funding, Mitacs matching, advisors and business partners to coach an inventor in entrepreneurship, oversee the business development and minimum viable product testing, and link your startup to sales channels for international market penetration. It seeks students with great product or innovation ideas that want to receive private research funding to develop their idea and turn it into a viable business. Ideascout is a student targeted business incubation program offering research funding, entrepreneurial training, product development guidance and startup leadership. Privately share your product idea or innovation and we will match it with our network’s resources.
This is a unique program and a student applying for an opportunity to work with Ideascout gains:
- Access to private seed funding for research while still in the ideation stage – this is rarely offered by private industry as it is considered high risk;
- Professional assistance through the entire business model startup phase using lean startup methodology including coaching, guidance and direct management of the startup – you gain a highly qualified and accomplished team of startup professionals to help you launch your business;
